Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  •   Coordinate travel arrangements for travel clients,

  • Provide administrative support to office staff,

  •   Assist clients via phone and e-mail,

  •   Multi-line phone system use - answer, transfer, and take detailed messages,

  •   Book airline tickets, hotels, cars, and vacation packages,

  •   Manage payments and invoicing for clients,

  •   Develop efficient workflows that can be utilized by others,

  •   Desire to learn all aspects of the travel business,

 The ideal candidate has the following qualifications/characteristics

  •   Work independently with minimal supervision,

  •   Strong professional written and verbal communication skills,

  •   Prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines,

  •   Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment,

  •   Consistently deliver excellent customer service,

  •   Strong attention to detail,

  •   Basic math,

  •   Familiarity with MS Windows applications and intermediate MS Office expertise

  •   Team problem solving experience,

  •   Punctuality, honesty and reliability 

 Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Post secondary education is desirable

  • 1 year minimum successful full-time work experience working in a professional customer service organization

  • Demonstrated typing, computer, Microsoft Office, internet and social media abilities

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship is required

  • Possess a valid passport or able to obtain one is required

  • Read, write and speak fluent English.

 Other Highly Desirable Background and Experience

  • Working Knowledge of World Geography

  • Leisure or corporate travel experience -the more the better

  • Past employment in the travel industry

 Employment Type, Schedule, Location

  • This is a full-time hourly employment-at-will position with unlimited growth potential.

  • Standard work hours 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday – Friday
         plus one Saturday per month.

  • Infrequent overtime may be required during peak season.

  • Competitive hourly wage is based on skills and experience.

  • Infrequent overnight travel may be required.

  • This position is not eligible for remote work locations or work from home.

  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
